After participating in the Jazz Workshop, the musicians have to audition for seats in the the group due to the high level of musicianship required to perform in this ensemble.

The Jazz Combo has received excellent to superior ratings in festivals and at other performances.

Expanding their musical knowledge, the students challenge themselves as they venture into compositions and improvisation. Those participating give up their free time after school to participate in rehearsals.
